Revolutionary War Patriots

bar

This page contains all known a proven veterans of the Revolutionary war that are currently in the database as of the date this page was last updated (listed at the bottom of the page) Its lists each persons name and dates of birth and death and then what is known about their service. For most the DAR Patriot Index Centennial Edition is used as the primary source when possible. When I have found an entry in the DAR lineage books I have used it to flesh out their service history but not as a primary source as the lineage books are prone to major errors or in some cases forgerys of service. If your patriot is not listed and is in the database, please email me with the particulars and where the proof is listed. Verbal/Written(unpublished or unverified) Family legend or history is not acceptable unless DAR, SAR, SR, Society of the Cincinnati or CAR has accepted it as proof for membership in the last 50 yrs or so. The list is broken up into 3 sections as it is a long list. The links to the other pages are at the top of this page's list.
